(Maybe I've told you this... I hope not)

I always associate this tree with Pierre Ndona Svoboda. About a month after he came to the U.S, I went to the art museum with him and his mom. The trip was not successful, it mostly consisted of Pierre making faces and trying to cover my eyes every time we passed a nude statue (I never realized how many there are until I went with Pierre). Anyway, as we were leaving, we pointed this tree out to him, and he gaped at it, completely aghast. Not knowing enough English to express his disbelief he just screamed, "How?"
