Uncorking the New Year!
This fun, lucky shot features another good friend who is gone across the ocean and also a flatmate and the author of the enjoyable and thoughtful Sweet Chicken blog in the background. It was great to have both around to enliven the New Year's Eves goings-on.

So- I was looking on the admin page of STL BLOGS for something and noticed that you had 999 comments- this makes 1000~ wow~ now that's something to open a bottle of champagne about!
(I just love it if I see the odometer change from XXX,999 to XXX,000)

Wow, way to notice that, Heidi, and congratulations for being the 1000th commenter. I may have to buy you a drink as a prize. Interestingly enough, I passed my 500th blog post recently too, which keeps my comment to post ratio almost exactly a consistent 2:1 ratio.
