Wozers the detail in #1 is great. #2 reminds me of Chihuly blown glass. Hey, have you been accepted into the online photo group yet? Seems like you're getting the focus thing down.

I thought of Chihuly too when I saw those leaves. I am waiting to apply again to the group. I applied a couple of times with my old camera, and the pictures were two noisy. I almost made it first time with my new camera, but one of my images was flowers and they don't want any more of those (bummer for me eh?) and then I tried twice rather too quickly to replace that image with slightly out of focus shots. So now I have to supply three brand new shots. So, I am going to take my time. Ah, learning and patience.
