This sketch is precious. Also, the pictures of the sculptures are great. I really appreciate grayness of the metal against the ashyness of the sky in #4 and #8. Kinda sad in a good way. Know what I mean?

Thank you, Heidi. The sketch is just because, though I don't desperately need its message today, I often enough do, and because others may today.
Yes, grey days are great for photography. They make colors vivid, even it is is grey on grey or slate on grey. I understand "sad in a good way." Lewis talked about being attracted to the Norse myths because they existed under a sort of bleak, vast sky. He spoke of "pure northerness" engulfing him. I get it.

i forgot to comment when i saw the fountain pics, but i've always loved that fountain. summer nights when you drive by it looks so beautiful. the light is exceptional and i agree with heidi on this one--sad in a good way.
